better than never

today i'm listening to: marching bands in manhattan - death cab for cutie

if i could open my mouth
wide enough for a marching band to march out
they would make your name sing
and bend through alleys and bounce off all the buildings

and.
this video can make me smile, even on the rainiest days...

"none but ourselves can free our minds"
-bob marley

yes. and yes.

muchos.

but please -- note the author's name. delish.

on clear nights (let's face it, there aren't many here)

i have a great view of the moon.

i like to watch it swim across the sky and often i wonder:

how many others are looking at it too.

it makes my world seem smaller.

"loneliness is this funny little game that i like to play when i'm all by myself."

but i'm still ready to take on the world.

"The only man who behaved sensibly was my tailor; he took my measurement anew every time he saw me, while all the rest went on with their old measurements

and expected them to fit me." -George Bernard Shaw

soooooo finally-

i've come out of hiding...

sorry i haven't written all week, i've been busy falling off the face of the earth...
i've been running around my head. sometimes you just gotta know when to hold em' and when to fold em'

this coming from a girl who has to play poker in "teams,"
and seldom can work a p-p-p-poker face.

"how did you get this far?"

"one day i decided to rule the world."
i disco.

"we do not have to visit a madhouse to find disordered minds; our planet is the mental institution of the universe"
-johann wolfgang con goethe

"One of the advantages of being d i s o r d e r l y is that one is constantly making exciting discoveries." -a.a.milne

you got that right...

"just remember,
the same as a spectacular Vogue magazine,
remember that no matter how close you follow the jumps: continued on page whatever.
no matter how careful you are,
there's going to be the sense you missed something,
the collapsed feeling under your skin
that you didn't experience it all.
there's that fallen heart feeling that you rushed right through the moments where you should've been paying attention.
well, get used to that feeling.
that's how your whole life will feel some day.
this is all practice.
none of this matters.
we're just warming up."
-chuck palahniuk

i'm off to float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, and swear like a sailor.
